Vikram Vedha is a 2022 Hindi remake of the 2017 Tamil movie of the same name. It is a neo-noir action thriller that is inspired by the Indian folktale Baital Pachisi. The movie is directed by Pushkar–Gayathri, who also directed the original version.  The movie stars Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan as the titular characters, who are a gangster and a police officer respectively. The movie revolves around the cat-and-mouse game between Vikram, a honest and ruthless cop, and Vedha, a cunning and charismatic criminal. As Vikram tries to hunt down Vedha, Vedha challenges him with three stories that reveal the grey areas of morality and justice.
