Story:
Vikram is a story of revenge, justice and redemption. It follows the journey of Agent Vikram, a mysterious vigilante who leads a team of masked warriors to eliminate the drug mafia that ruined their lives.
The movie begins with a brutal murder of Karnan, an alcoholic and drug addict who neglected his grandson suffering from a heart ailment. The killers are revealed to be a group of masked men who leave behind a clue: a chess piece. The case is assigned to Amar, a black-ops commando who is an expert in tracking down criminals.

Amar soon discovers that the masked men have also killed two other high-ranking officials who were involved in the drug trade. He suspects that there is a mastermind behind these killings, someone who knows their every move and motive.
Amar's investigation leads him to Santhanam, a ruthless drug lord who has connections in the government and the underworld. Santhanam is also aware of the masked men and their leader, whom he calls Vikram. He hires a team of assassins to hunt them down and protect his empire. Amar and his team try to intercept Santhanam's men and stop the killings, but they are always one step behind Vikram and his gang.
Vikram is revealed to be a former cop who was betrayed by his colleagues and framed for corruption. He lost his wife and son in a staged encounter by Santhanam's men. He escaped from prison and vowed to take revenge on those who wronged him.
He recruited other victims of the drug mafia, such as Bejoy, an honest inspector who was suspended for exposing Santhanam's links; Prabhanjan, an ACP who was blackmailed by Santhanam for his foster father's debts; and Tina, a former escort who was abused by Santhanam's clients. Together, they formed a secret squad that used chess pieces as their signature.
The movie reaches its climax when Vikram and Amar face each other in a final showdown. Vikram reveals his identity and motives to Amar, who is shocked to learn the truth. He realizes that Vikram is not a villain, but a victim of injustice.
He also understands that Vikram is not killing for pleasure, but for peace. He decides to join forces with Vikram and help him bring down Santhanam and his network. The movie ends with Vikram and Amar storming Santhanam's hideout and killing him and his henchmen.

They also expose his crimes to the public and the media, bringing an end to the drug menace. Vikram fulfills his promise to his grandson and arranges for his heart surgery. He then surrenders himself to the law, accepting his fate. Amar salutes him as a hero and promises to fight for his freedom.
