Story:
The story revolves around two forensic experts, Nikhil Nair and Dhananjay Rajpoot, who are caught in a cat-and-mouse game with a brutal serial killer who calls himself Shubh Joshi. The series begins with the sudden death of a priest right in front of his teenage son Shubh in Varanasi.

Eleven years later, Nikhil Nair, a former CBI officer turned teacher at the FBI HQ, receives coordinates of an unknown location from a mysterious source. He decides to return to India and joins his former mentor Dhananjay Rajpoot, who is now the head of the CBI forensic department.
They find out that the coordinates lead to a mutilated, tortured and charred body of a woman who turns out to be Dhananjay’s wife Sandhya. Dhananjay is arrested for her murder, but Nikhil believes that he is innocent and tries to prove his innocence. He also receives more coordinates from the same source, which lead to more gruesome murders of random people at random locations.
Nikhil and Dhananjay realize that the killer is following a pattern based on Hindu mythology and astrology. The killer believes that he is an Asur, a demon who is destined to bring chaos and destruction to the world. He also claims that he knows Nikhil and Dhananjay from their past lives and that they are his enemies.
The killer kidnaps Nikhil and forces him to carry out his murders by threatening to harm his family. He gives him three targets: a billionaire philanthropist Aaditya Jalan, a hacker Rasool Sheikh and Dhananjay himself. Nikhil reluctantly agrees to kill Aaditya and Rasool, but refuses to kill Dhananjay.
Meanwhile, Dhananjay escapes from prison with the help of his colleague Naina Nair, who is also Nikhil’s wife. They try to track down the killer and stop him before he completes his final murder. They also discover that the killer is none other than Shubh Joshi, the son of the priest who died in the beginning. Shubh was adopted by a guru named Lolark Dubey, who taught him the secrets of Hindu mythology and astrology. Shubh became obsessed with his teachings and developed a twisted personality.
The series ends with a final face-off between Nikhil, Dhananjay and Shubh at an ancient temple in Varanasi. Shubh tries to kill Dhananjay by stabbing him with a trident, but Nikhil intervenes and saves him. Shubh then tries to kill Nikhil by strangling him, but Dhananjay shoots him in the chest. Shubh falls down from the temple roof and dies.

Pawan had a personal grudge against Dhananjay for ruining his career and reputation. He also believed in Shubh’s ideology of Asur and wanted to create chaos in the world.
The series ends with Pawan escaping from the CBI custody and sending a message to Nikhil and Dhananjay that he will continue Shubh’s work and that they will meet again soon.
