Story:
The second season begins with Nikhil and Dhananjay being suspended from their jobs after the events of the first season, where they failed to catch Shubh Joshi, the mastermind behind the killings. Shubh has gone into hiding and is planning his next move. He has also recruited Rasool Shaikh, a hacker and former colleague of Nikhil, who helps him execute his attacks.
Shubh targets prominent people who are connected to the ancient legend of the Dasavatar, the ten incarnations of Vishnu, the Hindu god of preservation. He believes that he has to kill them in order to bring about the end of the world and usher in a new era of darkness. He also believes that one of his victims is the avatar himself, who can stop him.

Nikhil and Dhananjay are determined to stop Shubh and his followers, but they face many obstacles and challenges along the way. They have to deal with their personal issues, such as Nikhil's guilt over his daughter's death and Dhananjay's estranged relationship with his wife. They also have to face opposition from their superiors, who doubt their abilities and methods.
Meanwhile, Shubh also faces some difficulties in his mission. He has to contend with Kesar Bhardawaj, a former friend and rival who has escaped from prison and wants revenge on him. He also has to deal with his own doubts and fears, as he realizes that he may not be as powerful as he thinks.
The season culminates in a final showdown between Shubh and his enemies at the Temple of Kali in Kolkata, where he plans to unleash his ultimate attack. Nikhil and Dhananjay manage to reach there with the help of their allies, such as Naina Nair, Nikhil's wife; Nusrat Saeed, Dhananjay's colleague; Lolark Dubey, a forensic expert; and Anant Atharva, a young boy who claims to be the avatar.
They confront Shubh and try to stop him from completing his ritual. However, they are shocked when they discover that Shubh is not alone. He has been joined by another serial killer, who has been working with him all along. This killer is none other than DJ himself, who has been secretly manipulating Nikhil and others for his own agenda.
DJ reveals that he is also a reincarnation of Kali, and that he has been using Shubh as a pawn. He says that he wants to destroy the world because he is disillusioned with humanity and its evils. He also says that he hates Nikhil because he blames him for his daughter's death.
Nikhil is stunned by DJ's betrayal and tries to reason with him. He says that DJ is not evil, but misguided. He says that there is still hope for humanity and that they can work together to stop Shubh. He also says that he forgives DJ for his daughter's death.
DJ is moved by Nikhil's words and feels remorse for his actions. He decides to help Nikhil stop Shubh. However, before he can do anything, Shubh stabs him in the chest and kills him. Shubh then completes his ritual and activates his bomb.

Nikhil manages to grab Shubh and throws him into the bomb's blast radius. He then runs towards Anant and shields him from the explosion. The bomb goes off and destroys the temple.
The season ends with Nikhil waking up in a hospital bed. He sees Naina by his side and hugs her. He then sees Anant standing near the window. Anant smiles at him and says that he saved him. He then disappears into thin air.
